Motor Vehicle Engines Exchange
Via our Engine Emissions Compliance Credit Exchange, engine manufacturers will be able to trade emissions compliance credits with respect to the following programs:
ABT Program for Heavy Duty Highway Diesel Engines
ABT Program for Heavy Duty Gasoline Engines and Vehicles
ABT Program for Non-Road CI Engines
ABT Program for Snowmobile SI Engines
ABT Program for Small Non-Road SI Engine
ABT Program for Marine SI Engines
ABT Program for Locomotive Engines
ABT Program for Heavy Duty Highway Diesel Engines
- NMHC+NOx (light duty, medium duty or heavy duty)
- NOx (light duty, medium duty or heavy duty)
- PM (urban bus, light duty, medium duty, or heavy duty)
ABT Program for Heavy Duty Gasoline Engines and Vehicles
- NOx/NMHC+NOx (Phase-out) (heavy duty engines and heavy duty vehicles)

ABT Program for Snowmobile SI Engines
- HC (Phase 1 and Phase 2 (ERCs))
- CO (Phase 1 and Phase 2 (ERCs))
ABT Program for Small Non-Road SI Engine
There are five classes of small non-road SI engines for which credits can be bought and sold. They are:
- Handheld (HH)
- Nonhandheld Class I
- Nonhandheld Class II
- HH Engine Used in NHH Equipment
- Cold Weather Fuel Lines
For exhaust emissions, the following types of credits can be traded:
